When Gabe and I were first engaged I’ll admit I was a little sad not to have a destination wedding! I was torn because I love to travel but I also wanted a big celebration with all our family and friends. So I decided that every 5 years Gabe and I would travel somewhere new and “renew” our vows! AKA I just wanted to get away with my husband, wear a white dress and take some pictures!
When we decided on Greece for our trip I knew I wanted to book a photographer for Santorini. We used Flytographer again because it’s easy to setup and takes all the hard work out of trying to book a photographer abroad. Out photographer Teo suggested a sunrise shoot in Imerovigli. Thank goodness it was our anniversary because I think any other time Gabe would have said hell no at the idea of waking up before dawn on vacation.
I’m gonna say it, sunrise in Santorini may be even more magical than sunset. It was wild being up and out before almost any people. The quiet, stillness of it all was kind of astounding. Teo took us to the most beautiful locations! One of the best things about Flytographer is they really know all the hidden photo spots!
