Quebec City Photo Session

When we booked our trip to Quebec City for October I knew I wanted to take a great family photo for our holiday card.  So, I decided to splurge a little and book a Flytographer! Don’t know what that is? Don’t worry neither did I until our good friends kept posting these incredible images of them on vacation! Essentially you book a local photographer to come and take pictures.  The Flytographer website takes all the guess work out of it and makes it incredibly easy to find a photographer and schedule all the details.  Let me tell you, it is the coolest!

We scheduled a local photographer named Frances to come take photos of our family.  Frances suggested early morning as there would be less people and the lighting would be better. We started at Terrace Pierre-Dugua-De-Mons.  This park has gorgeous views of Château Frontenac.  After a few photos there we began walking down towards the Château.

Before hitting the promenade we walked through another gorgeous park.  Visiting Quebec City in October was such a dream-the weather was crisp and the trees had just started changing color! Once at the Promenade we took a few more photos in front of the Château Frontenac.  I especially love the photos of Davis sitting on the boardwalk (he wasn’t walking yet so sitting was the best we could do!)

After our photography session ended we made a quick pit stop inside the Château Frontenac (mostly to warm up and find a place for breakfast) we decided on Café Bistro L’Omelette.  We were surprised to see it doesn’t have the best reviews on Yelp but we enjoyed it! The service was amazing and the food was good.  Also, I was a real sucker for the old school vintage wooden high chair they had!

Hope you enjoy the photos! Quebec City is truly incroyable!
