While in Florida we spent a few days in the Fort Lauderdale area visiting family. The house we stayed at had a pool so we mostly hung around there because when you’re traveling with a kid all you really need is a pool! But we decided to get out and explore the area a bit.
Our first stop was Fort Lauderdale Beach! If you’re looking for a beautiful beach that’s a little quieter than Miami Beach then this is the place. The walkway along the beach is lined with beautiful palm trees and tons of cute bars and restaurants! We stopped for lunch at Ocean Blue where we both got fish tacos and Davis devoured some chips and guac!
